There are not words to describe the way she makes my heart fill with joy and laughter! Oh how I love my precocious little 2 year old!

Whoops, she did it again!

So, two days after Ruby fell and got stitches she fell AGAIN! She split her head open and passed out. (a common occurrence when she gets hurt). So, back to the Insta Care. I am always the one that has taken my kids in the past. Part of me just can't send my hurt baby to the doctor with out me! This time I really wanted Colin to have this experience. So, begrudgingly, I put her in her carseat, gave Colin strict instructions and waved goodbye.

Well, the Doctor wouldn't restitch her, so 45 minutes later Colin came walking in with some glue and steri strips on her forehead. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING! I had to endure my sweet baby wrapped in a sheet, and buried under a sheet over her face while they numbed her and did 10 stitches. Half the time I was in tears, thinking that they should put me in jail for allowing this to happen! I seriously can't catch a break!

I'm sure this won't be our last encounter with emergency care, maybe I will be strong enough next time to send them with Colin. There is still hope for him to experience the beauty of Insta Care:)

Always Naked

Ruby is ALWAYS naked. She is full of life and spunk. I adore her.

They Still ADORE her!

I am amazed every morning when my little Ruby wakes up and the rest of the kids fight to go and get her out of bed. They just adore her! You would think she is a new lego set, or American Doll the way the drool and maul her. What a wonderful blessing she is in our life. She is so much fun! I hope they like this next one just as much!

Stinker

When we visited the Mormon Battalion site she was an absolute Nightmare! But I managed to get these pictures...

Oh my GOODNESS!! She is 2 years old!

This past week my baby turned 2! It is so crazy how the time flies by. She is the light of my life and this house. She is so full of life and sweetness. We are so blessed to have her in our family, there is never a dull moment.

This year we all went to Toys "R" Us with her. We let her walk the isles of the store. She would pick things up and turn to her daddy and say, "Buy it." You could say that is early to know that, but let's all remember she is a Wright and she is asking HER DADDY! She is just like him, a shopper.:) We had a great time! After that we brought her gifts home and wrapped them for her party the next day.

Colin's favorite bakery made this cake. It was a pretty penny, but YUMMY!!

Ruby's interests have spawned to panties, and potties! I can't believe it. She is 20 months, and wants to do it. I think it will take a little more time before she is completely ready. For now we will have these:

ONE year old...Help!?

We have had a sad thing in our little ward this past week. A little friend of my Ruby's had a terrible accident and was run over by a car. It was three days before his first birthday. He was one day older than Ruby. It has really put some perspective on our little girl. There is a physical reaction in my body when I look at her. I am so crazy about this little one. I often wonder,

"Is it because she could be my last?"

"Is it because I know how quickly they grow?"

"Is is because she is more special than the other's?"

"Am I going to loose her?" (Morbid thought, I know, but after this week...)

BUT

She did it. She turned a year old. We had so much fun with her. The night before her birthday we took her to Toys R Us to get her some gifts. She was so excited about everything.

Friday night we had a my mom and dad, my sister, and Spencer and kids over for cake and ice cream. First birthday's are my favorite.

RSV?

Ruby has had a runny nose for a week now. The other morning she woke up with a scorching hot temp! (103.5!) So I made an appointment and went in for a visit. The doctor started out by saying that her lungs sound good. She moved to the ears where there was a "massive" ear infection. (Her words) Then she wanted to do an RSV test. After waiting the 15 minutes she said the test was inconclusive and that she "thought" Ruby had RSV. She gave me and antibiotic, and a charge to go to the suction clinic at Primary's. After I was on my way, I thought to myself, how could this possibly be RSV. She is eating, sleeping, happy, and NOT coughing. She was extremely congested, but the doctor said herself that her longs were clear. I decided, no way! And after a day of amoxicillian, we are on the mend. Sometimes, mothers know best. (But thank goodness for doctors who verge on the side of caution, especially with the weekend ahead:)

Needless to say we have spent may a hours in one of our favorites places this weekend!

8 Months Old

I am so behind on my blogging. I was starting to think that by the time I actually did post again, Ruby would be getting married! Yikes. She is now 8 1/2 months old. She is so beautiful. I want to eat her. She is not yet crawling, but she will kiss you, respond to her name, and wave goodbye. (sort of)

She has many nick names. Her they are:

Sink Bath

Ruby had her first lollipop last night. She loved it! It left her a sticky mess. So, we put her in the sink. She loved it.

Ruby was sitting on the floor in her room, the other morning, just playing with some toys. It was the cutest site. I decided to take some photo's. Everyone joined in. They turned out cute.

There is no way Ruby can deny that her siblings are crazy about her. They were fighting to have there turn with her. You would've thought we just got her! It has been 8 fast months!:(

YIKES! I really can't believe that my baby is that old already. Classic story, huh?
